SUMMARY:Trail Work Day on the CCC Trail
DESCRIPTION:The CCC road was originally built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps\, a public work relief program for young\, unmarried men during the Great Depression. The CCC trail is the old CCC road\, which encompasses a total of 13.5 miles running somewhat parallel to the Middle Fork Snoqualmie road. The trail itself is broken into an upper and lower sections\, and allows hike\, bike\, and equestrian access. The upper part of the trail runs through second growth forest\, with occassional views of the nearby peaks and beautiful waterfalls. Volunteers will continue to maintain this trail to make it accessible to all of its users.
