DESCRIPTION:Please join the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust at the REI Flagship Store in Seattle on Thursday\, October 10 from 5-7 p.m. for a public meetup to celebrate the emerging work and partnerships within the Mountains to Sound Greenway National Heritage Area.   \n \nCome out to this free event to learn\, connect\, and get involved in your local community! Learn about the rich culture\, history\, and natural wonder around you\, and hear why Congress designated this region as one of just 62 National Heritages Areas in the entire country!  \n \nAttendees will have the opportunity to network with other heritage professionals and supporters; learn about volunteer opportunities; and form connections with others who care about preserving our local culture and environment.   \nThis event is intended for heritage professionals and any members of the public who want to learn and connect with the heritage and conservation community. Light food will be served\, and a short program will begin at 5:30 p.m. \n \n \nPlease RSVP!
