Natalie (she/her) executes habitat management plans and conducts wetland monitoring activities as the Assistant Lead for the Mountains to Sound Greenway Restoration Crew. Originally from Pasadena, CA she moved to Walla Walla to attend Whitman College. While studying to earn her BA in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Art History, she worked in the college greenhouse and studied insect behavior in relation to sunflower plants. After graduating she worked at an urban hydroponic microgreens farm in Seattle leading research and development projects and then joined EarthCorps as a Crew Member last year. She is excited to collaborate with the restoration team and build resilient riparian habitat that promotes salmon recovery and landscape connectivity. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, knitting, running, contra dancing, and volunteering with local farming organizations.
