Project Greenway

Looking for a way to stretch your creative legs? Use your awesome design skills to help the Greenway by designing a new t-shirt for our hard-working volunteers. The Greenway works with thousands of volunteers each year on ecological restoration and trail maintenance projects. It is thanks, in part, to Greenway volunteers that we may all enjoy the natural wonders of living in this region- from hiking the network of trails in our mountains to enjoying the serenity of creek-side salmon habitat. We love our volunteers! This t-shirt will be one of the many ways we offer thanks for their hours of dedication to the Mountains to Sound Greenway.

Designs must focus around the concept of volunteering with the Greenway. Our volunteer events include invasive plant removal, trail maintenance, native tree planting, and tree potting. We run events every Saturday all year long and on Sundays in the spring and fall. Designs can include text, images and graphics that center around volunteering.

Contest Rules

Anyone can enter! We especially encourage designs from youth and kids.

Dimensions for designs: Designs must be fit within a 9”W x 11”T space on the front of the t-shirt.

Designs will be printed on white t-shirts.

The word "VOLUNTEER" must be incorporated into the design.

Designated design colors:

True Black

PMS 322 (C 100, M 0, Y 38, K 31 / R 0 , G 129, B 133) (Teal blue-green)

PMS 362 (C 70, M 0, Y 100, K 9 / R 73, G 169, B 66) (Bright and vibrant yellow-green)

PLUS A color of your choice

Designs must include the Mountains to Sound Greenway logo in its original state (full color). No changes to the color/style of the logo please. Logos must be at least 3"W x 4"T and sized proportionately. See below for logo choices.

Design Fonts: If you use text in your design, please use easy-to-read font styles and sizes.

Design format:
1. Vector file in either Adobe Illustrator or Freehand.
2. Entrants may also choose to enter a hand-drawn sketch of their design.

Any design must follow the criteria of the Project Greenway contest. We will work with the contest winner on rendering sketches if needed, into a digital format.

Contest runs January 25^th- March 2nd.

Mountains to Sound Greenway Logo:

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR OR FREEHAND DESIGNS:

Use this logo (adobe eps format) if you want to place the logo on the white background of the t-shirt.

Use this logo (adobe eps format) if you want to place the logo on color over the white background of the t-shirt.

For hand-drawn designs, click on the logo at left and save it as a jpeg for use.

Remember: Be sure to size proportionately!
