Greenway Native Plant Nursery

Greenway Nursery VolunteersJoin one of our most popular volunteer activities: tree potting!

The Greenway Native Plant Nursery is home to over 20,000 native trees and shrubs. The trees and shrubs at the nursery are potted by volunteers each winter and will grow for 1-2 years before being planted in parks and forests throughout the Mountains to Sound Greenway. These trees and shrubs are an important part of keeping our natural areas healthy and potting these plants is the first step in restoring these areas.

Tree potting is great for all ages; no experience required.
