As part of the Mountains to Sound Greenway’s 20th Anniversary, volunteers will get a chance to help the Greenway come “full circle” by participating in a very special event on Saturday, March 5th at Dr. José Rizal Park in Seattle. The park has special significance for the Greenway as it is the very first location to have an official tree-planting event in 1993 sponsored by the then newly formed Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust.
Volunteers Needed on Community Service Day at Golden Gardens Park

In an exciting partnership with Carter Motors, Seattle Parks and Recreation and Friends of Golden Gardens, volunteers will remove invasive Himalayan blackberry and English ivy, and plant native trees and shrubs in this shoreline park in Ballard on Community Service Day, Tuesday, February 15th.
Americorps NCCC Crews Work to Improve Recreation Sites in the Greenway

The Mountains to Sound Greenway is hosting 2 teams of 11 crew members who are currently assisting in trail work on Tiger Mountain, Mt. Si, Squak Mountain and Rattlesnake Mountain along with ecological restoration work in other areas of the Snoqualmie Valley and Redmond.
