Strap on your snowshoes this winter- it’s time to get out in the Mountains to Sound Greenway and have some fun.

Join the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust and the US Forest Service on Saturday, January 19th for guided interpretive snowshoeing tours atSnoqualmie Pass. Fun for the whole family, there are 3 unique 90-minute tours to choose from. Each interpretive walk will take snowshoers of all skill levels on a 1-mile loop that winds through an opulent old-growth forest. Participants will discover hidden lichens, fungus, winter birds and mammals as well as learn some of the rich history of the area with the help of a US Forest Service Interpretive Guide and a Greenway Trust Educator.

Snowshoes will be provided but registration is required as spaces are limited.

The tours are scheduled as follows: 10 am/11:30 am- General Public Tours and 1 pm- Kids in the Snow! Tour. A donation of $15 per person is suggested, $10 for youth 16 and under.
