The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust is holding its first-ever photo contest in honor of its 20th Anniversary.

As part of its 20th-anniversary celebration, the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust is holding a photo contest. The trust works to protect the lands along the Interstate 90 corridor from Ellensburg to Seattle.

There are six categories, with prizes to be awarded in each group, as well as the overall winner. Photos must be submitted by July 15.

Organizers also plan to select 30 entries for a traveling exhibition to be displayed across the Greenway later this year. Categories are:

• Nature and landscapes

• Working farms and forests

• History, culture and architecture

• Outdoor recreation and people in the Greenway

• Feathers, fur, fins and bugs

• Cities and towns

All entries must be taken within the boundaries of the Mountains to Sound Greenway. For details and rules, go to mtsgreenway.org.
