June 24 | Rails 'N Trails Pedaling Tour

Pedaling TourSavor the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley on our newest trip, in partnership with Savor Snoqualmie Valley. Start the morning with a historic train ride before we grab our bikes and pedal through forest and farmland on 20-miles of the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. Sample local food, meet farmers, hear stories from the past, and discover the magic that this valley, just outside of Seattle, has to offer.

Registration is closed. Sorry, no walk-up registrations--our shuttles are full.

DETAILS

Saturday, June 24, 2017
8:00am to late afternoon
$45 per person

We'll meet in Duvall and then catch a shuttle to North Bend for a local breakfast. Then we take a historic train ride to Snoqualmie Falls, where we'll pick up our bikes (we'll shuttle them for you from Duvall) and then we'll start our bike ride along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. There will be a local lunch in Carnation and then several farm visits (just off the trail!) as we bike back to Duvall.

TO PARTICIPATE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Be able to bike at least 20 miles on a gravel trail - that said, the trail is mostly flat and wide, and therefore isn't a strenuous ride. We always encourage everyone to bike at their own pace, which is best to enjoy the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley!
  • A bike and helmet - since the trail is packed gravel, we recommend mountain bike or hybrid tires. Road bike tires (the thin ones) are not advisable--it's too easy to fall. We also recommend that if you are borrowing a bike that you try it out before the trip to make sure it fits you.
  • Need to rent a bike? Compass Outdoor Adventures is offering our participants a discounted mountain bike rental of $50 for this trip. Email us to reserve a bike.

Once you are registered and paid, we will send you more detailed information about the trip. You can also check out our Frequently Asked Questions.
