Would you like information about ecological restoration events?
Stewardship Extension: The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust now offers outdoor service learning projects to follow environmental education activities. Projects may include caring for native trees or invasive species removal at parks or natural areas in the Greenway.
Yes, I would like information about doing an outdoor service project.
Would you like assistance with buses?
Most schools will qualify for a free bus through King County's Wheels to Water Program or a $100 bus subsidy available from the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust.
Yes, I plan to ask for a bus subsidy for my school.
Is your school able to contribute toward the cost of the program?
There are no mandatory fees for Greenway education activities. However, it costs $550 to teach one in-class lesson and one field trip (not including transportation costs). To offset the cost of providing environmental education, we are asking schools to contribute $150 toward the cost of participating in each curriculum unit, as schools are able to do so. We will not turn a school away regardless of ability to pay for classes.
Yes, my school will be able to contribute $150.
No, my school is not able to contribute.
I'm not sure if my school can contribute.
