Greenway Legacy Fund
The Mountains to Sound Greenway Legacy Fund is an endowment fund managed by The Seattle Foundation. Its purpose is the protection of the Mountains to Sound Greenway, for the public good, in perpetuity. It will be used to support restoration, enhancement, education and advocacy programs of the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust.
We raised the first $1 million in honor of Jim Ellis, Seattle civic leader and Greenway Trust founding president. He celebrated his 85th birthday at the Jim Ellis Birthday Tribute which kicked off a multi-year endowment fund campaign with a goal to raise $5 million.
