What does the Greenway Trust do?

MISSION:    The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust leads and inspires action to conserve and enhance the landscape from Seattle across the Cascade Mountains to Central Washington, ensuring a long-term balance between people and nature.

 

GOALS:   The Greenway Trust acts to:Education field study trip

 

  • Promote voluntary public land acquisitions for wildlife habitat and recreational access
  • Build and maintain trails and facilities to create recreational opportunities
  • Support working farms and forests
  • Promote tourism within the Greenway
  • Support historic preservation and interpretation
  • Promote a balance between built and natural environments
  • Provide a forum for diverse interests to integrate conservation and economic prosperity
